Why IKONIX Bikes?
Share
First, I would like to thank you for your support of me and my companies over the years. From humble beginnings as a teenager, I started as a rider and designer and created Haro Bikes and then Bob Haro Design.
After Haro Bikes, I continued to participate in BMX through Olympic collaborations with Nike in 2008 and 2012, the London Olympics in 2012, marquee events with Red Bull, and collaborations with some of the most iconic brands in sport, like Vans, Redline, BMX Action, Oakley, SE Bikes, JT Racing, Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, and many more.
My passion for BMX has never wavered, and I’m proud to introduce my new BMX brand, IKONIX. While my roots are in the ’70s and ’80s, as a contemporary designer, I wanted to create something new and innovative.
The IKONIX FS1 is not a re-pop of past designs—it’s a look forward. It’s fresh, modern, rideable, performance-focused and loaded with details.
My vision for IKONIX is to build a new BMX brand that is steeped in my history and design ethos: high in quality and limited in numbers.
The FS1 represents the first of many exceptional products I plan to offer. I hope you can join me as I embark on this new BMX journey!
Thanks,
Bob Haro
